A few years ago we – Herman, Marion, Maartje, Jordi and Stan Voetman – decided to start a new life in Italy. After a lengthy search which started in Tuscany and spread through Umbria we arrived in Le Marche and lost our hearts to a house in Corinaldo – a beautiful little medieval walled town near the Adriatic coast and the city of Senigallia.
We opened as a Bed and Breakfast in August 2010. If you come to stay at ‘il settimo borgo’ you will immediately discover why we fell in love with Corinaldo and its surroundings, the towns of Jesi, Fano and Senigallia and just a little further off Urbino, Rimini and Ancona.
You will be stunned by the breathtaking landscape between the Adriatic Coast and the Apennine mountains, the hundreds of unmissable tourist destinations and the friendly helpful people of the region. And you will you never forget the superb food and wines of Le Marche.
We look forward to your visit and hope to see you soon.

Come and sample the relaxed atmosphere and make yourself at home. Our hospitality offers everything you need for a perfect break from the hectic pace of everyday life. ‘il settimo borgo’ is just 600 metres from the historic centre of Corinaldo and has a large garden with panoramic views of the surrounding hills. A short walk to the ancient town centre for a cup of tea or coffee or a delicious glass of local wine in one of the cafes is most welcome during the heat of the day or the cool of the evening.
The velvet beaches of Senigallia are a 20 minute drive away, and a 45 minute drive in the other direction takes you to Monte Catri in the Apennines where ski-slopes have been open since 2009. Within a few kilometres of the town are a host of typically friendly and beautiful villages like Mondavio, Ostra, Casteleone de Suasa and Ostra Vetere.
